Discover the variety of beaches

Alcossebre has more than 10 kilometres of coastline, starting from the heart of the Sierra de Irta Natural Park. Most of it has retained in its natural state, offering a wide variety of coves and beaches of great ecological value, as well as well-equipped beaches in the centre of the town. There's a beach to suit every mood.

CALLAS OF SIERA D’IRTA

Starting from Cala Blanca and continuing along the coast, there is an infinite number of small beaches where you can enjoy the crystal clear waters of the area. Cala Blanca, Cala Mundina and Cala Ribamar stand out and are considered to be authentic virgin beaches. They are made up of fine sand and pebbles.

LAS FUENTES BEACH

This is the next beach on the right along the coast. It is a sandy beach, about 400 metres long, with all the facilities, including sports facilities and a lifeguard tower. It is a beach without waves, which makes it ideal for families. The beach has several freshwater springs that cross the sand in the form of streams (hence the name), where children like to play.

CARREGADOR BEACH

Carregador Beach is 720 metres long and is the largest and most central beach in the city. It has an excellent quality of waters and many services around: access for people with disabilities, showers, footpaths, children's play areas and parasol and hammock hire. At end of the beach is the marina, where free sports activities are organised during the summer months. And the beach is bordered with a dune area of ecological value.

SERRADAL BEACH

Although it is outside the Natural Park, Serradal beach has preserved its natural state in its entirety. The beach begins at the mouth of the river San Miguel to the south. It is a pebble and sandy beach that extends for 1 kilometre and is completely surrounded by vegetation. One of its peculiarities is its location near the mouth of the river, where there is a semi-submerged delta of ecological value. It is a more quiet beach with a low population. However, it has rubbish bins, footpaths and a cleaning service.
